Preschool (age 3-5)

Our preschoolers sing songs, have a short lesson, do a craft, and then have free time to play with toys. The lessons are based around a combination of several sources including: The Illustrated Bible for Little Ones by J. Emmerson-Hicks, Ollie and the Wonder Clubhouse videos from Christ Fellowship Kids, and paraphrased passages from the Bible. The lessons start at the beginning of the Old Testament and are chronological till Christmas, then stories of Jesus’ life are taught until Easter, and then we jump back into the Old Testament to pick up where we left off.

Kindergarten – Gr. 3

The lessons in the K-3 class are from the Brite curriculum. They include times of singing, practicing a memory verse, and books of the Bible, an interactive lesson, and small group times, where children get to get to know their peers better, learn more about the Bible and do an fun activity. The lesson begins in chronologically in the Old Testament, until Christmas where the stories are then from the New Testament, including Jesus’ life and teachings and the Early Church.

Grade 4-6

In the 4-6 class, children learn an in-depth lesson, complete a worksheet, and memorize a monthly memory verse. The lessons are based around the book The Ology by Marty Machowski and an apologetic curriculum developed by Dr. Jill Enns. This year, the curriculum is focused on The Ology. There is a different theological focus for each month including creation, sin, the law, Jesus’ divinity and humanity, the Holy Spirit, Christian Traditions (such as baptism and the Lord’s Supper) and Jesus’ return.
